I have been getting sales pitches in Email using my real name. The only place I have my real name is on the original XP registration. Is this ethical and can I change the name to John Doe?

It's probably spam. I get some in my university e-mail account (which I NEVER use for anything but official university business) that claims some Microsoft server picked me as a winner of a contest I never entered.

I'd just delete it and ignore it.
