    Is something wrong with my HDD?

    Yesterday night and today morning my HDD free space was 125GB and when i came back to class it was 139GB of free space..How is is this possible?, should i restart my computer? Can it be a virus or something?.Thanks to anyone who helps..

    Check to make sure all of your folders are accessible. I had an external hard drive that liked to corrupt folders (and the contents) and thus the folder was recording 0 bytes used. Real pain. Hopefully this isn't the case for you.

    yeah its vista, checked all files did scans delete adware and restarted and seems alright..

    Well today some how my HDD space is 148GB yesterday it was 136 after DL a couple of tv shows??..

    Either system restore or disk defrag released the temporary cache when you restarted.
