Hey guys, I am planning on buying a notebook in Europe, but the problem is that I have a few pieces of software and I am not sure if they will work due to different regions in American and Europe. Would the American versions of Battlefield 2 (DVD), Half-Life 2 (CDs), and Office Ultimate 2007 work on a European notebook? I know I could have bought them all digitally, but I didn't at the time.

I bought 3 games online from Britain and I live in Quebec. So far I've had no problem with that. One of those was "The Ship" wich requires activation via Steam and it's all going well.

As Jojoinnit said, no region coding (or even idea of) for PC games, only thing with region coding on PC's is DVD's (actual watchable DVD's, not game DVD's)
