    Is there a way to chance window taskbar color

    Hey, was just messing around with customization options, and I realized that you can pretty much change colors of anything except for the task bar.
    Anyone know the how to on this, or programs that can do it?

    go to control panel > Display > Apperance > Colour scheme, their is 3 colours to choice from

    Where are you getting these paths? When I open control panel undat er vista, there is no display tab or icon, I can go to appearance and customization and after that nothing is similar to what you've given me.

    Maybe you're running xp?

    I know how to do this with Aero, but as my sig says, I have the good ol' classic 98 colours...You can change it through personalization (right click on desktop/personalize) And go to "Window color and appearance, changing the Aero theme colors affects the taskbar slightly too.

    Only way I know.

    Or you could run a skin of some sort if you want... otherwise just play with the coloring options there which are still pretty good. :)
