The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

in vista. If the computer has it stored locally somewhere, and it autofills it in, but you don't remember what it is anymore. Is there a way to go to wherever its stored and find out? How?

Yes there are a number of tools to recover them...

I haven't used any in so many years I can't recommend any, but a search of Google or Softpedia should turn up hits for you or someone else can hop in here and give you a personal recommendation.
