Hi Everybody
I have a very slow internet connection speed. I would just like to know if anybody knows how I can save the (eventually downloaded) file so that I may watch it again offline?
Thanks
Theo

hmm well thats a bit more complicated cos you have to go through the cache of downloaded files of your browser, but if you want to download the videos without watching them or after you watched them and liked them, try this website.
http://www.savetube.com/
just copy the address of the video from you address bar and enter it in this website, click go and it will give you a direct link to the video for you to download and forever. Just remember to name the video cos they all download as get_video.flv. -
There are half a dozen Firefox extensions that do this
This one is my favorite -
You could always use Miro - it's an open-source internet tv, bittorrent client, video player and can download YouTube videos.

I use FireFox Plugins, but recently I been using RealPlayer Plugin that seems to be able to record more than any Plugin or app I ever use.

I just found out that if you download RealPlayer it gives an option to record any video. There will be this sort of pop up in the upper right hand corner of the YouTube video, and you click it to download the video. Pretty neat.

Thanks for the replies guys. Managed to save the videos.

I use vixy.net. RogueMonk gave the link already.

a program called tubehunter works really well for these video sites. the great thing about this prog is that it works elsewhere besides youtube. unfortunately it is a paid-for program but where there is a will there is a way.
Is there any way to save You Tube videos?
