Is there anyway to slim down Vista (SP1) to make it close to XP's snappy'ness?

    Hi,

I was curious, I know we can shut down a number of XP services to make XP faster. Can we do the same with Vista? Will a tweaked Vista run in a similar speed to XP?

    Thanks,
    Rich

I will look at the walk through above.

Is Vlite similar to Nlite? I have used Nlite before.

Does Vlite make sure you dont remove something important from your vista install? Will it be as good as doing the tweaks after the fact?

    Thanks,
    Rich

    'Person'... not people.. ;)

But yet, it's basically the same thing. Only problem is that you can't integrate a service pack with vLite.
