    Hello friends,

I have upgrade my windows 8.1 to windows 10 which is awesome.
First i had a issue with windows 10 that i dont have sound. Then i changed my sound quality to 24 bit 44100 Hz then it started working now its fine.

But newest problem is that one speaker in my laptop sounds really bad. It has a bad voice i can explain it.

But when i connect the laptop to my subwoofer there is no such thing. It works fine and sound quality is also good.

So i guess this isnt a software issue . This is a hardware issue. Am i correct ??
But my problem is i got this bad voice of my laptop speaker after i upgraded my laptop to windows 10.
I also tried to update my sound card but installation fail and say newest update is already installed. Dell is also not issuing any new driver updates to windows 10.
    Please help

"It has a bad voice i can explain it."

Not sure what that means. Voices are distorted but music is OK?

You can try running a Linux Live Distro such as Ubuntu or Mint to pinpoint whether it's a driver issue or a hardware issue. Download the ISO and either make a bootable DVD or USB (latter is recommended for speed, a 4GB USB drive will be sufficient) and run the OS off it, the live distro will not affect your existing Windows OS or your files.

From there on check the sound quality from the speakers, if it sounds fine most likely it would suggest the audio drivers are not yet optimised for Windows 10. If you have any sound enhancement settings try disabling it to see it improve things.

If however it still sounds distorted under the Linux distro then it would suggest the hardware is at fault. If the system is under warranty then contact your vendor for support. Otherwise depending on the model try searching for Hardware Service Manuals to see if you can safely dismantle the system and check if the speaker wires are connected properly or are not pinched under the base.
