I can't use Skype all of a sudden, though I have a strong broadband connection and have no problem accessing the net. I'm using a router.
I was working on my site and tried to do a right-click paste. But the stupid, newest version of Firefox gave me a message that I can't cut and paste. So I went and did a Ctrl-V, as I've done many times before, and got a message about TmProxy.exe, whatever that is.
Now I Skype can't to connect, either on my husbands or my notebook. I don't know a lot about this stuff but I'm wondering if it has to do with the router firewall since the problem is affecting both my huband and my access to skype. I don't know how to access the router properties to see if it's blocking something.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Skype; no change. Did a system restore. No luck. I have no idea what else to try. For what it's worth, I'm using a trial version of PC-cillin.
No other changes have been made on my notebook, which I've owned about a month. Nothing else on my computer has changed and, prior to today, have been using Skype problem-free.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

tmproxy.exe is a process used by Pc-cillin Internet Secuirty, checking for things such as anti-fraud, network viruses, and email. This could be the issue here, so try disabling the anti-virus and restart your computer.

Thanks, but it doesn't work. I've uninstalled PC-cillin, reset and modem and router and still nothing. Well, I have noted that for a few seconds, Skype will go on, then off.
Any other suggestions? This is very frustrating.
Is this causing my problem: TmProxy.exe
