    Is this what I do before selling my computer?

    it is windows 8.1 Samsung Series 5 Ultrabook - NP540U3C-A03UB 13.3"

    charms bar --> settings --> change pc settings --> update and recovery --> recovery --> remove everything and reinstall windows

    here is a video.

    But seeing how windows 10 is coming soon, should i wait?

    That will give whoever you sell the computer to a fresh install of Windows, but personally, I'd wipe the drive clean with a program meant for that and then do a clean install of Windows. In the end, it depends on how worried you are that someone might try to recover your personal data.

    If you're selling the computer anyways, there is no point to wait. If you mean, not selling the computer and upgrading to Windows 10, if you don't need new hardware and it's still in good shape, just upgrade. There is no point in buying new hardware unless you have a use for it.
