    hey guys

not sure if this is the right place to post this question and hopfully its allowed, but here goes:

ive recently brought afew games for the notebook and im already sick of having to take them in and out of the driver every time i want to play a different one, is there a free program i can use in vista that allows me to make an iso image of the game so i can mount it and play it that way?
if so a name or link would be much appreciated.

    thanks in advance

you'll need two programs, a ripping program, such as Wondershare ISO Burner, and a program for creating virtual drives from .iso files, such as DaemonTools.

I use ImgBurn to make my images then I use Daemon tools to mount them.

I recommend Alcohol 120%. Also comes with it's own virtual drive. Currently there's a lifetime license limited offer for $50 USD~

Depends on which software you use. There's always a guide on their respective websites~

well thanks for all the responses....
i tryed using wondershare iso burner, downloaded it and then added a file (oblivion) from the dvd drive, but i dont know what to do now, its added but i dont think its an iso image, deamon lite doesnt find it, how do i take that added file and convert it to iso, surely it will take some minutes to convert.the only option this program have is add, burn and erase?
sorry this is all new to me, thanks for any advice

Not sure about wondershare, I use Imgburn. In read mode, create image from disk. Open Daemon Tools (I use lite) find image, right click, mount, starts automatically.

i ended up using magicdisc really simple click on the discdrive you want to make the image from, then set location for iso to be made to, hit ok, them simply as you guys said use deamon lite mount image and your good to go, fantastic, no more putting in and taking out dvd's yeah.

thanks for everyones patience and help.
