Just wondering if anyone can help me on this one. I recently got an LG P1 laptop and i wanted to reformat it with the partitions i wanted. I had a windows xp home cd from my desktop computer from before, so i used that but when i got to the setup screen it said no hd's were detected. But in bios it shows i have an hd installed in the system. Having a look at the discs included i found a recovery cd and used that instead, and for some reason it worked. Now, i'm just wondering why did it say no hd's were detected with the genuine xp home cd? It's not so much a problem, i'm more curious as to why.
