I'm using TMP, and the last time I have about almost 30 tabs opened. After I closed the FF window, and then I tried to start FF again, FF is freezing. It keeps on giving me not responding in task manager (for like more than 15 minutes). I end the FF process and start it again, but it keeps on happening. The process is using a lot of CPU in task manager, plus about 500k memory.
I've read that 3.0.4 introduced a new memory leak, could this be the cause? Can I get my FF to run normally again? I don't want to lose the tabs.
P.S. I am currently posting this using Chrome, while FF window is not responding next to this window.

I think, 30 tabs are too much!!!!
-
But usually, before I update to 3.0.4, I don't have this kind of problem even with 30++ tabs opened...
-
Sweet, If its still crashing, then overwrite previous version which was installed or 2.xxx, after installation completes, it should open with crashed tabs too.

Can't really help but how do you manage 30 tabs and why would you want them all open at the same time?
-
use google chrome? that's what it made for.

try use mozbackup to backup the everything from your firefox
then uninstall it, install previous version which stable then restore it back. -
So there are indeed people who are having problems after install latest 3.0.4...

30 tabs is really overkill in any circumstance.

Everyday, I read more than 30 topics a day and its better for me if will just open it in several tabs for easy viewing offline or online. -
i typicaly have between 50 to 80 tabs open at one time but thats in opera but if i used firefox i would have the same so 30 tabs is not bad.
