    Hello all,

I've often wondered about the usefullness of Itunes plugins. At first I thought they only existed for OSX, but I found that some for Windows do exist (this looked like a decent list: http://forums.ipodlounge.com/showthread.php?threadid=21729).

Just curious what you guys use, if any, and what you like (or hate) about them.

    Ciao!

I don't use any. However if you are using firefox I would really recommend foxytunes. It's a great little program that allows you to control iTunes without closing your browser window. It's my favorite plugin for Firefox and iTunes.

The best iTunes plugin is the one that uninstalls it :) Seriously though, nice GUI but terribly inefficient, that program is a hog.

I'm not sure I can help you there. I actually used to use itunes on my old notebook, but made a point to not use it on my new one. I'm still undecided between Winamp and WMP at this point.

I really wish they would trim down itunes, and not make us download that awful quicktime player that I have no reason to use. I guess itunes for Windows is stuck being a dog, like Office is on Macs.

Media Monkey is the way to go if you want something other than winamp or windows media player. It used to be free, not anymore.

I don't even use iTunes all together. I just use Realplayer to manage my ipod. Nice and simple, select the ipod, then sync it with your Library.
