Hi, I'm running a weird OS configuration on my laptop right now. I have one 70gb 32 bit Vista partition, and a 64 bit Windows 7 20gb partition. I'm really only doing this because Dell doesn't want to give me the 64 bit Vista discs, so I just stayed with 32 bit. So I run JK Defrag on Windows 7, and it also defrags the Vista partition. Question: will JK Defrag 64 cause any problems on my Vista partition because its a 64 bit utility, or will things be fine?

I do not believe you will experience any problems using the 64-bit JKDefrag to defrag the files in the partition where your 32-bit Windows is installed.

I can't think of how to explain it, but basically you just have a 64-bit program running on a 64-bit operating system and the files are just files and in the same file system. :s

I believe the filesystem is the same regardless of whether the OS is 32-bit or 64-bit.
