    Java, Java & Java is 300MB+. Which one to keep?

    In Add or Remove Programs, I have 3 Java files:

    -J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11 at 120 MB
    -Java(TM) 6 Update 2 - 134 MB
    -Java(TM) 6 Update 3 - 111 MB

    Which ones do I need and which ones I can get rid of?

    Keep this as its the latest : -Java(TM) 6 Update 3 - 111 MB

    Get rid of other two

    i also found that uninstalling older java versions is helpful...does not adversly affect java

    I wonder why the Java updater always leaves the older ones behind??? Is this for some backward compatability issue?
