Okay, so I got rid of the joke blue screen files from the windows/system32 and the documents and settings/local/temp folders (joke_bluescreen is a form of malware), however it modified the display window so I cannot edit the wallpaper. If anyone has read about or experienced the joke bluescreen, you know this is a nuisance.
Is there a way to reset the wallpaper settings (I currently have it set to my desired picture, but I want the option to do it automatically from the right click on the desktop screen like I used to be able to before the spyware modified this)? I'm using windows XP 32-bit on an Inspiron.

Do you know when this happened, could you do a system restore to a point before the joke bluescreen.
