I just got another monitor and set up a dual screen. This is my first time using dual screen and its amazing! It's like I have 2 pc's. I have objectdock on my primary screen, but also want a dock on my secondary screen. Is this possible? Or should I just drag over some icons over there? Are there any tricks/tips I should know about Dual Screens? Sorry if I'm asking stupid questions but right now I'm excited and can't think straight. :D :D :D

Man, if dual screens gets that reaction, just imagine what'll happen when you learn about virtual desktops ;)

Haha, I've seen that before, but I like the idea of more screen real estate. I can browse on one screen and chat on the other without minimizing my browser to see what he/she said. Also, if I have homework and research to do. It's just more productive, I can multi-task better. These are just things I've done this past hour. When I get used to this more, gg ;]

    EDIT: VERY NICE yehrulz. +1

Is there a way with Ultramon when playing a fullscreen game, move my mouse to the 2nd screen so I can browse the internet instead of alt tabbing?

    Hey Mcgrady,

I understand ultramon is not free, but its the only software i would pay for actually (with nod32 and vista :p). I really think its worth the price. But if you must:
    http://www.mediachance.com/free/multimon.htm

Ultramon is the clear winner though.

As with fullscreen games, i don't think can really do that cause the game detects how big your primary monitor is. And shuts off the other one. At least for me.

I have mixed feelings for dual screens. The good part is the increase in productivity for HW (Defaintly, for reasearch and paper, ultramon makes is easy to switch windows), and other stuff, ESPECIALLY PROGRAMMING!! :D. The bad side? I get sidetracked too easily with IM :)

EDIT: Multimon has a free and paid version. The paid version actually gives me the functionality of ultramon. The free version is a bit skimped imho. But if you need free, then go for it. Other than that, ultramon ftw :D
