    Just installed a printer thru a home network. It was so ez.

    Win7 automatically downloaded the correct drivers. All I had to do enable the printer in the home network, and on Win7, just search for a printer, and that was it.

    Way to ez!

    I can do that for my printer as well, but I need to download the driver from HP to scan.

    I was able to do it also and thought I just got lucky. That and both the printer, laptop and router were new. I wasn't able to it until I replaced my old router.

    Glad to hear it! What printer make/model is it, because I had some difficulty with my Canon MX700 multi-function printer/scanner. Got it to work eventually but it was a struggle...
