Well, after 5 weeks of waiting for Dell to ship my Vista Premium UPGRADE, it finally arrived today!

Vista has been out for a couple of months now, so I decided to go ahead and install Vista [will finish the install once I get home].

    My first question is:

    1) Can I do a clean install with Dell Vista Upgrade?

    2) I also ran into a problem, which I wasnt able to correct since I had to go to work. During the Bios update (from the Dell Vista preparation CD), it states I must have the AC Adapter connected and NOT running off battery power. The odd thing is, the adapter is plugged in and running on AC power.

Hopefully this install is worth it :)

    Thanks!

    .

I don't think so. It's very unfortunate, too. I am glad to hear you received your's because I'm waiting for mine and this is a good sign...

Awesome. Thanks for the link. As a bonus, the guy who's doing the how-to is using a T60. ;)
