I've been using K-Lite for years! It's great. Thanks for letting me know about this update.
But the one thing I hate about K-Lite is the ugly Media Player Classic! I know I can use other programs but I still would like to see a new fresh design. Perhaps they made a new design in this update?

K-lite is really just for the codecs not the player. Media player classic is very plain but it is lightweight which i prefer more.

seep, you talk about media player classic, not k-lite itself. k-lite is the codec pack, media player classic (home cinema) is the actual player.

btw, doubleclick the video to get fullscreen? yes, that can mostly every player, including media player. spacebar to play/pause.. yes, mostly any, including media player.

I prefer VLC Media Player because it's clean and it doesn't interfere with other programs. All of the codecs are installed in the VLC program files folder and used by VLC only so you won't have to deal with codec conflict issues.

I prefer codec packages, because they're clean and they don't require me to use another program. As they interfer with other programs they allow me to use such movies everywhere, from movie maker, to professional programs, to media player, media center, to previews in the windows folder. That way, my movies work everywhere, just as they should, and I can do what ever I want with them, just as it should be..

:) But I do understand your points very well, Ocelot :)

I was using K-lite but I've since gone to CCCP. Honestly they both do an equally great job, I just like CCCP's website better XD they both offer great functionality so why not?

Edit: CCCP stands for combined community codec pack.

CCCP is a much better option than K-Lite if you don't fancy manually installing and maintaining ffdshow etc.

K-Lite comes with so much bloat it's ridiculous.
