If you set the BB account as admin, which they need to fix it, they can still get to your personal files....................

Last time I gave it to them I had the BB account not as admin. But just yesterday I got the laptop stolen. If I just let them fix it without worrying so much about privacy yesterday, I wouldn't have had the laptop stolen.

In order to fix the system, drivers and the like, you want admin access. I guess though BB won't do much oth4r than reset the OS if they have to track down the issues. I'd have to ask what does the BB account and it being stolen have to do with one another, though I am sorry to hear someone stole it?

It got stolen on the day I was deliberating on whether or not to just turn it over to Geek Squad to fix the slight crack and the out of order microphone. I delayed doing so because I didn't know how to make it not boot automatically into my admin account (it's password protected but only when switching to the account from another user account, not when being turned on from shut down mode.

That same day I got it stolen from my car.
So if I just didn't mind it so much and trusted that BB people didn't try to do anything bad and turned it over to Geek Squad, I would have prevented my laptop from being stolen that same day.
