    Keystroke delay in Vista

    Hi,
    I've been experiencing an annoying lag in VIsta while typing. There's no resource hogging application running in the background and I have 4GB RAM without any heavy CPU usage(task manager stats). Can someone please help me out on this. Even as I'm typing this text there's a heavy lag :(

    does it only happen in a web browser or in all of your applications?

    Happens on all apps. I've noticed that PCMService.exe causes this. Blocking this program solves the issue.

    did you lookup what pcmservice.exe is, why dell has it on your machine, and how to properly manage it?

    google and the dell support forums are your friends.....
