    hey all, my bros lappy is really bad. if its plugged in with the ac adapter it shuts off with no warning. with out the adapter it works but the battery depletes really quickly. my guess is something is really overheating or messed up. its and old Toshiba lappy. what is there to do?

    How old is the battery? Batteries aren't made to last forever.
