    Laptop screen fading program

    hey, are there any programs so that you laptop screen brightness can fade out, to a darker brightness, when not really using it, then back when you use it, so that it doesnt completely turn off, but has a nice fade out, thanks

    I don't know of any off my head, but there might be some screensavers that act similarly, try Googling that.

    isnt there a smart dimmer for vista? this doesnt fade it out completely though

    DimSaver works in vista, just copy it to your windows/system32 and it will appear in your screen saver list.

    Even though they dont say vista compatible try them out, most likely they will work.

    Can i get confirmation if the screensaver works for vista? It says for 2000 and XP only
