I have a Fujitsu laptop about a few months old, running Windows 7 Home Premium with the latest service pack.

When putting the laptop to sleep via Start>Sleep, or letting it sleep after 30 minutes, trying to wake it via the keyboard or USB wireless mouse will NOT wake it. There is absolutely no response whatsoever from pressing any of the keys on the keyboard.

The only other option is to press (not hold) the Power Button, which most of the time will cause the laptop to shut off.

This problem has been bugging me for the longest time now.

Can anybody please help me out? I would greatly appreciate it. :)

check all of the power settings for your devices (via device manager|driver)

I just restored it to factory settings. Everything seems to be fine now.
