Ok this might be a really stupid question, but I can't seem to replicate it now.![]()
You know the normal favicons we see next to the url on the url bar? I remembered seeing some really wide ones, like 3 times the normal favicon width. For example, I remembered going to a Microsoft site and saw a really wide green bar/icon appeared and written "Microsoft Corporation" on the url bar.
I just can't replicated this anymore. I forgot where I saw this exactly, if it was in IE7 or the new FF3, or maybe on the Windows Tablet PC 2005. I'm pretty sure it was FF3, cause I was like "hmm that's really big favicon" when I first saw it.
Anyone knows what I'm talking about or I'm talking nonsense?

It is in FF3. It is the Officer Larry feature to help people identify legit sites and to see if the SSL is verified. Some are kind of ridiculously big though. I know when I login to my Bank of America account it takes up 1/4 of the address bar.

Thanks atbnet, I thought I was going crazy for a moment cause I just couldn't replicate it again going back to the sites I went.

There is one over at PayPal website.

I finally found where I saw the M$ one before, it's when you select "Use enhanced security" for your login at Hotmail. -
By the way, you're right - they do look kind of snazzy
.

If you click on it and then go to 'More Information' it will tell you how many times you have visited that website before. I've only had FF3 on my computer for 2.5 - 3 weeks and I'm up to 1500 on NBR. My Gmail is up to 2500.
Edit: You'll see this under the security tab after you click 'More Information'. -

You'll have to click the security tab to see the hits. -

Although I have deleted my cookies recently (today), it says I haven't visited this website today. Does it update on a daily basis or what?
