    Hello All,

I have a Sony VAIO and I installed a clean version of Vista. I installed AcronisTrueImageHome which allows to make a Recovery DVDs. Now I got a large ISO image of size 13 GB, is there any way to burn it on multiple DVDs?

    P.S.: I have Nero 8

    Thanks

You could use ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com/ I know it works well for other things but I don't know if that would allow you to burn onto multiple dvds or not--but I think it might. You could give it a try.

You should be able to set how big the image file can get so it will fit onto DVD's (multiple). Should be the Archive Splitting option. You should use this.

I second goofball. I use acronis too, and I set the file size to 2 gigabytes. This way I can burn 2 files per DVD plus any error correction I wish to add (like dvdisaster, or quickpar2).

I'll look into their website and see, Thanks.

That's an option I should follow during generating the Images? Cuz I got no such option that makes me choose the size of the Images nither in UltraISO nor in NERO, any details or a link explains that?

How did you set the size to be 2 GB?

This is an option that you set before you create the images.

Look at the section for Backing Up Your Hard Drive, there's an option mentioned there to set the archive size.
