My Computer (Dell Insprion 1420, only built in intel GMA 965 graphics) used to have a screen resolution of 1440x900, but since I installed the lastest vista updates, it can only display in 1024x768. I tried updating drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling them, system restoring (I only got an error) I spent and hour on the phone with Dell, and I even tried editing default values in the RegEdit. Right now under Device Manager, Display adapters has a warning next to it that says that the device cannot find enough free resources that it can use (code 12). Any ideas???

Just throwing ideas here, but the resources complaint makes it sounds as though the IGP is not receiving enough RAM to run at 1440x900.

Have you tried uninstalling the update file?
