It is probably really easy, but I was wondering, where do I find the launcher icons to launch the games from steam. I am making a dock exclusively for launching games... Thanks

My games are located inside the steam folder. Once I have doubled clicked on the steam folder I scroll down to the SteamApps folder. Once I go to the SteamApps folder, I go to the common folder. There I find my one and only game Shogun 2. I hope that your games are also located there.

This may not be great if you have a lot of games, but seem to work for me: open steam, right click the game- create desktop icon- then add the shortcut to the dock.
When I right click the desktop icon the path for portal (for example) is steam://rungameid/400
