    Hi!

I recently switched from Mac OS X to PC XP pro.

On my Mac I had a fantastic program for launching files, programs, websites and whater else that you wanted it to launch.
Via Apple button + space you get an comandline, there you type for example Ph, a list pops up with the latest items that you have used that contains ph e g Photoshop, iphoto mail adress containg ph and so on. And you are able to scroll the list with the arrows and lunching the file(or whatever) with enter

Now for the question, does anyone know of such an app for PC, i´ve been looking around without luck...

    Thanks in advance
    Niklas

    Why the switch?
But yea there are quite a few bars around. One is now illegal. Mac sued the guy because it was too similiar to the Mac bar. But they are all quite memory intensive.
I'll see if I can find them.

    K, just found them.

The illegal one is yz_dock. Don't know where you can get it. :)
There is also ObjectDock from Stardock. There is a free version(I didn't like it too much) and a pay version (never tried it). http://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/
There is also Aqua Dock. Basicly a rip of yz_dock, but with spyware. http://www.download.com/Aqua-Dock/3000-2341_4-10277932.html?tag=lst-0-2

    Haven't tired these below:
    RK Launcher at http://home.cogeco.ca/~raduking/
    RocketDock at http://www.punksoftware.com/
    Mobydock at http://www.mobydock.com/

    Hi!
The switch was made because of Apples(in my opinion) inability to upgrade the hardware.(I cant be that wrong Apple themself realised it and are switching to intel, I just couldn´t wait)

The app I´m talking about ain´t the dock, it´s a textbased program launcher. I would post a screen dump if I just could figure out how to post a pic :)
