    hi all, hope you can help me solve this issue...searching on google was to no avail.
    what exactly is lbd? and how do i fix this error?

    Since that, whatever it is, appears to be a driver for a service, look through the services listed in the computer management function accessible under the "administrative tools" icon in the control panel to see if you can find anything that appears to relate to that driver.

    Also, did you at one time have a product from Lavasoft installed, such as Ad-Aware? According to this systemlookup.com search result, lbd is related to lbd.sys, which is a part of Lavasoft's Ad-Aware.
