    Is it really possible to do a hd-format and reinstall a fresh winxp? can all needed drivers be found on lenovo.com? my model: lenovo r60 9461-dxg

    All the drivers are located in the IBMTools folder.

    You should download the drivers that you need before you reformat. If you are using wireless to get online you need the driver before you can get it to work. Are you using the restore cds that come with the R60? they should have most drivers on them. They might be old but will work.

    thanks for your replies! im downloading now all needed drivers from the lenovo homepage:

    chipset
    network (LAN)
    audio
    keyboard
    screen
    video

    do i need any more drivers? do not need bluetooth and all the tools, so i do not download them.

    can i download the newêst ngo catalyst 7.3 or do i explicitely need a MOBILITY catalyst driver?
