    Hi all,

I woukld like to know the steps if I want to downgrade my X200 from Vista Home premium to XP Pro sp3

I found there are 3 visible and 1 hidden partitions from the 160G HDD:

    1st partition is called SW_Preload (C) about 140G
2nd partition is called Lenovo (Q) about 9.76G
    3rd partition is called Services003 (S) about 1G
4th partition is only visible in management console (what does that partition do?)

Actually I want to repartition the HDD into 2: one for OS (30G) and the other for DATA (130G). Since I just got it, I really don't have anything to backup. What shall I do next ?

BTW, do I really need to buy an external DVD writer just for creating the recovery disks ? (costs 110 US). Can I use software to create recovery disk as iso and burn it from my desktop ?

Sorrry for so many questions, hope if you can help me
    thx
