    Hey everyone,

So the past two days I've had a random BSOD appear out of the blue (ba-dum-tss).
the only changes I've made to my system lately is installing "Sony Ericssion PC Companion" for my Sony Xperia Z.

I've gone and uninstalled it to test it out, however if anyone is capable of reading the mini-dump files and find the source of the problem I'd be very grateful.
I've had a look at the dump files via BlueScreenView however upon Googling you get the same answer with as every BSOD "go update your drivers" which really isn't helpful.

    Thanks all.

    P.S - I should note that I am using Windows 7 64-bit.

Most BSODs occur either from bad software (drivers) or bad hardware such as a malfunctioning piece of hardware such as hard disk or bad memory module. As in your case it's definitely the Sony software. See if there is an updated version of this software and try it. Also memory dumps are not always 100% spot on correct of which driver or hardware is causing it sometimes a certain software would cause an error but another driver may show up as the offending one that's why it is said to update all drivers especially ones you suspect.

Get the latest version of Sony Xperia software (I know Sony are horrible when it comes to updating software and drivers)

^^^ good points, I very recently had the same error Driver_Power ... on an Asus after updating my dedicated video card driver to the latest version. My fix was to totally remove the latest ATI video driver and install an older one
I did find this What is mbm3devmt.sys ? | System Explorer , BTW thanks for including bluescreenview in the Zip, well done!

    Cool. Thanks guys.

I will go update the drivers.

I should note that since uninstalling the software I have had no further BSOD's, however I will go update everything anyway.
