I've got LimeWire Pro and I'm trying to download some programs, but every single file I try to download has a virus or it is corrupted. I can't downlaod a single dcent program I can actually use. Is there some way of finding out whoch are the corrupted or infected files before downlading??  :base:

Any help would be really useful!

I don't believe there is a way of scanning files before downloading them off limewire

However, uninstalling your antivirus software will do the trick, and I recommend u download AVG free edition, it's a great anti virus program and doesn't get in the way of limewire

limewire sucks too much legal battles with it as well as virus etc u mentioned. for me it was putting viruses on the p2p networks that made me go legal with music etc, not the lawsuits

yeah I so use AVG darbyjack and I do think Limewire is getting "full up" with thousands of viruses and it;s really un-reliable, I think I'll just use BitTorrent, it can be a bit of a pain to find torrents though.
