    I don't have "Common Startup". Is that only in Vista?

    STARTUP is the shortcuts in the startup folder for your user account, ie;
    C:\Documents and Settings\ [username]\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

    COMMON STARTUP is the shortcuts in the startup folder for all users, ie;
    C:\Documents and Settings\ All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

    So basically, STARTUP items will run only when you log on as that specific user, COMMON STARTUP items run when you log on as any user.
