Hey guys, every so often I will get a little black strip that appears on my taskbar. I have no clue what it is or how to get rid of it, but it covers part of my icons which is annoying. Here is a screenshot so you know what I mean.

Any idea what it is an how to fix it? Thanks a lot.

your question is a little obscure. does this happen consistently or only while running diablo? it would appear to me as something that's being caused by a running program. otherwise it could be that you're due for a windows reinstall. and then again it could be caused by any number of things.

Before reinstalling, try changing to the default Windows 7 theme.

Great suggest by Mats, if that does not resolve the issue try creating a new user ID and login with it to test.

Um... I hate to say this, but it's because you are using Windows Aero, and the "black bar" is the other Window behind your browser. Aero makes your browser transparent to other programs running behind it, on the top, and bottom of the browser's frame. Mats suggestion (load default theme) would work only if your default theme does not use Aero. The Windows basic theme will turn Aero off.

Edit: The same principal applies to your task bar.
