Alright: so yesterday I purchased and downloaded a two year subscription to LoJack for Laptops through Dell. The install was fairly quick and painless, but I noticed that the product lists IE as a required program. This brought up one major concern: does LoJack only work through Internet Explorer? Moreover, how exactly does LoJack work? There are no technical details anywhere: no real explanations of what is stored where that sends what to what at what time when what happens and the like. Anyone want to help me to understand this program?

Oh, and as for their claim that the program persists after a reformatt: anyone ever check this out?

    Thanks,
    Mike
