This program is great. It has advanced facial recognition software. Basically if you sit down in front of your computer, your computer will unlock. As soon as you get up and move away the computer will lock again.
Check it out you guys will surely like it.

It's awesome!
-
Its awesome until the time the face recognition fails
, and you'd be locked out of your own PC.
-

Just in case. -
good concept but there's an issue... what if someone takes a picture of your face and holds it upto the camera?
-

I printed an 8 x 10 picture and held it up to the camera at varying distances, it did not unlock the computer.
However when I put my face in front of the web cam the computer was unlocked. -
i was looking into getting this but then noticed it's not compatible with vista
-
Bookmarked it to try later. Looks awesome.
-
Freaking awesom, it works. But what happens to stuff your doing (downloads, encodings, music)
Music works. -
wow is this for real?
sounds pretty awesome. -
And stuff works in the background
-
how the heck does it work do you need a web cam?
-
Yup. No point in using it otherwise.

Wow...That sounds really cool. I can't wait to get my notebook back.
-
I don't like the idea of my computer always looking at me.
-
what if I have a twin? Can I use my butt instead? how about other anatomy?
-
That is one cool piece of tech...
Very nicely implemented, and with laptops (most of which have webcams nowadays) very handy. -
-
-
It locks when your computer is not used. It uses Xp's built in lock functionality, just changing the logon screen. I tested it, I didn't use it while still sitting in front of the camera. It locked
-
Thei issue here is the use of battery. If the software keeps checking if you're there to lock the computer it will take a bit of a drain in teh battery to power the webcam. It should be more like you lock the computer when you go pee and when you want back in, then they check it. This become inefficent for gamers because if they needed to go to the bathroom quick... their lappie is gonna just shut down the game and wait for him to come back.
-
That's what happens, it locks automatically. It doesn't check to see if you're there to lock. When you haven't used your computer (using input devices) for a time, it'll. You can specify the lock time yourself. When playing video (non-fullscreen), it'll lock. The game will be on in the background (not suspended). It's possible to disable locking without shutting off the compy.

Well if stay in front of your computer and set the lock time to 10s the web cam will turn on at 10s and try to scan your face if its you it wont lock even if your not touching the computer, of course if it cannot read your face for whatever reason then it will lock itself.
-
It will lock after 10s of no usage no matter what. So don't move your mouse or touch you keyboard and it will lock after the specified time. Then it will be at the logon screen and try to scan you face. You can also set the time it shuts off the camera after it's on the logon screen.

i dont get it...it asking me a windows password that i dont even have..can anyone help?hehe...cool software...
edit...ooops i got it..you need to create a windows password for it to work.hehe -

-
You don't need a windows password. If you don't have one, just leave it empty. Just remember that you can just log in without a password even if your face isn't recognized.
-
I tried it, it locked.

weird... .
-
-
weird, mine locks (I've set it 300s of no input) then scans. Could it have to do with the camera make? Anyways, this way is perfect for me. Just how i want it to be.

SWEET!!!! Works pretty nice.
The first time it fail to work, most likely because my head was tilted at profile. I delete that model and created a new one with a good shot of my face look right at the cam. Worked flawless ever since.
I rather if there was a hotkey to show password input instead of it being shown by default. -
So, what happens if you have a goatee or moustache, and then you shave it off, does it still recognize you?

Cool program. Only thing i see wrong with it is that I need good lighting and have to be about the same distance from the camera everytime. Very useful though. Bout time they made something for us lazy people. Swiping my finger was so much work.
-
Problem is that it doesn't quite work. My friends profile (from a dsitance) apparently looks like my face, so it unlocks the computer. We look NOTHING, I repeat, NOTHING alike.

I think you need to get a better model. One closer to the computer. I haven't had anyone else unlock it. My dad, girlfriend, and two of my friends were unable to lock it.
Oh and I like the ALT + L lock. Very easy and fast -
My phot was quite good and quite close. He stood like 1,5 meters away. But I like Alt+L as well
-
INEEDMONEY Homicidal Teddy Bear
Wow. About 5ft (i'm american)?
I dont think i can unlock it with my face from that far. About 2.5 ft (~.6m) is about as far as I can go I guess -
between 1 and 1,5m (3 and 5 feet)
-
the whole concept is totally awesome, too bad i have vista
-
I can switch on or unlock Vista on my computer with my face already... it makes my nose a bit sore though, am I doing something wrong?
ahem sorry! couldn't resist..
the software looks good, like others I'll have to wait for the vista version to try it.. -
