I have an old laptop that used to belong to my office. I admit, I absolutely do NOT want to bring it back into the office to solve the current problem and so I am looking for a workaround. (It's not a stolen laptop or anything, the office is very cheapskate and petty, & I don't want office folk making assumptions about this piece of junk old laptop and why do I have two laptops etc.) Anyway, here is the problem.

I changed the name of the domain to a "Workgroup" which I simply named "home." You guessed it, I got locked out and now I cannot log into my laptop.

Running: Windows 2000. Computer is a Dell Inspiron 7500.

What are my options. Thanks everyone.

Discussion of bypassing security(like login passwords) for any reason is prohibited by the forum rules. If you really want to use the laptop, you know who to contact.
