    Hi everyone

I have used TuneXp for a while now on my Asus W3J, and have always wanted to ask why, that after applying the "Ultra Fast Boot" tweak my windows loading splash screen (not sure if it is called that, corrections please) takes much longer to finish.

Before applying the tweak, I had an average of about 6 runs of the bar under the windows logo, but now its taking twice or sometimes even more (12-14 runs)to finish the loading at the splash screen.

I love tuneXp anyways cos once it gets to the Welcome screen of startup, it loads pretty fast, and this to me is more important. I'd much rather have the bootup slow down at the splash screen and be able to load internet explorer or windows live messenger much faster once inside windows than vice versa. (hope i am making sense) But I'd still like to know of any ways I can speed up the loading during the windows splash screen.

    Thanks.

    Jeremy

    ... that's odd

My Ferrari took about 6 passes then I applied the Ultra-Fast start up and it was brought down to 2.5 to 3 passes.
