    Rodnee,

BootDisk.com is one that comes to mind, there are many others.

Make sure that it works with your T60 first, boot it, look at it then shut it down and restart just to make sure.

My distant recall of IBM stuff was that they handled their bios, mbr and such different than others.

    That may have changed.

You should actually ge able to creat your own, then copy over
    the formatting utility.

Browse through the sight, you'll get it

    HTH, don

Thanks for the quick reply Nails. :)

I went to the site but really didn't find anything I needed. I did realize there's an easier way. I have my Dell Inspirion Windows XP CD w/SP1 which doesn't have the 137gb file limit. So what i'm going to do is boot off of the CD, delete the partitions and format the 160gb HDD. ;)

    Boot and Nuke!

    http://dban.sourceforge.net/

Careful, it supports the 945 chipset but it is very slow in formatting the HDD, you might want to leave it on overnight.

They say the next release will fix the problem.

    Nice find. :D

My T60 hard drive is set in 2 partitions. Will boot and nuke allow me to delete and then format the hard drive?
