    Can anyone help me find (or make) a Command and Conquer theme for XP. I mean the whole thing. Icons, start up, desktop, media player, windows.... everything. It would be GREATLY appreciated by myself and by lots of CnC fans. I prefer alternate history (red alert) and mondern history (generals) worlds over sci-fi (tiberium) world. THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH GUYS!!! :D

    You mean something like this?

    I haven't tried this, so use at your own risk, if you want to try this one.

    I see your in a conundrium. I have tried relentlessly to wire dial up as a central internet connection for the house. I failed. However during my experiences I did discover a few tips that may help you.

    I purchased a wirless D-link router (g I believe) on sale for use at home. It came with 4 ethernet ports on the back and a "broadband Modem" connection. Having read the instructions and tampered with multiple setups i clearly understand that a wirless network with Internet requires a specific order.

    Your cable should plug into a compatible modem then the modem should have 1 ethernet port for you to wire it to your router. you plug the modem in to the modem port. This setup will then allow any computer to wirelessly access the router, which routes information through your modem for internet.

    cable -> modem -> router -> computer

    I also discovered that router switches only allow a 2 way connection. There may be 4 or 8 ports on the back of the router switch but only 2 devices can talk to each other. a good cheap way to setup a printer network. I did use my Netgear routerswitch to effertlessly use dial up connection on two different computers!!!!

    I connected both a Toshiba laptop and HP Desktop to the router switch. The dial up was hooked up to the desktop so I went ahead and dialed to get a connection. On the laptop I was able to access the desktop through the router switch. I found internet explorer on the desktop and played on the internet with one dial up connection, two seperate computers, two seperate IP addresses. And to go back to the store and tell the salesman what he told me couldnt be done....was Amazing (he said I would never get dial up connection on 2 computers). Now I dont have to worry because the desktop has the dial up and my New Laptop (I get it Tomorrow!!!) has broadband. I will set up my wireless router for data and gaming. I should be able to use my laptop to wirelessly play Lan against the desktop.

    Funny I would mention LAN gaming. I have 2 copies of red alert 2(each copy is 2 disc), 1 copy of the expansion pack...and red alert 2 on "First Decade"...so...6 discs for one game =) (potentially 6 players LAN) then I have a copy of renegade and a copy of it on First decade (2 players their) and I have Tiberium sun (2 Disc) and a copy on First Decade...so... 2 copies their, and If I can ever figure out how to install and play a game so outdated that its not compatible with the OS, then I would have 2 copies of The original command and conquer, one being original disc the other is on first decade. (I don't think the original had multiplayer support....dont remember)

    Woot go EA Games, Westwood, Electronic Arts, and command and conquer.
    Have you ever played command and conquer? I've played it for at least 8-10 years (im 18!)
