Hi.
I am looking for a way to sound an alarm when i am charging my Win8.1 tablet/notebook battery and it hits 80% so i can stop the charging.
Does anybody know of any software that can do this?
Thanks
John.

That's a good idea. I looked around and found this:
http://blogs.technet.com/b/jhoward/archive/2013/04/24/get-an-alert-when-my-battery-reaches-95.aspx
just change the iPercent code to 80.
(iPercent > 80)
tested it on my vaio running win7. seemed to work. Although if you keep on charging after 80% it will keep on notifying you. The only way to kill the script is to open task manager and kill the process "wscript.exe" (or might be called cscript.exe) -

I think batterybar Pro can do this too, but haven't been able to verify yet.
