    Hi guys,

Doing on my graduation exam for school and I need to include a lot of schemes, figures, tables and so on. Does anyone have a good software to suggest. It can be really simple, not looking to do anything extreme. Just some basic 2D things.

    Any software come to mind?

    Help appreciated!

Any particular reason why a combination of Excel and MS Paint will not work?

Well Excel will do the regulars including numbers and so. But I'm quite fed up with using Paint. I would also want to have easier tools for creating models.

    Any suggestions?

Seems better than MS Paint and slimmer than GIMP or PS3. Thanks I'll give it a go. Any other suggestions are still welcome.

I don't think I understand what you mean by "models"

Yeah, sorry didn't find a proper word, models is a bad word. What I'm trying to do is like sketching up schemes for like distribution chain. Meaning a would like to create simple, yet stylish schemes including pictures and text. I'm having difficulties to explain...

This could be a very simplified version of what I wish to do.

Looks brilliant, have to give it a go later on. I believe the biggest reason it wasn't mentioned was my poor description. Thanks alekkh!
