I have been asking for advice on what laptop to buy, I have found a laptop but it has no operating software!. I basically have £70 but i would prefer to spend less obviously. I need advice on what type of windows or linux to get but it needs to be able to run the latest games.
thanks for any help.

You'll need to post your specs so we can help you decide whether Windows XP or Vista is the right choice for you.
edit: Forget Linux as it's not a gaming OS. -

thank you for all your help -
I'd recommend buying an OEM version of Vista Home Premium SP1 such as this (cheaper then retail and lack packing/instruction manuals):

Ok this may seem awkward but would u mind showing where to buy it from remembering im from the uk. As i look and get confused about all the servicxe packs
-
Just get one with service pack 2. Don't worry about whether it's Service Pack 2 a, b, or c.
Once you install it you'll go online and update to Service Pack 3. -
Don't buy any of the OEM products that say "No Operating System". You'll only get an activation key and no disc.
