I am running a Dell Latitude E7440 and am having a noticeable loss of battery life in the past few months. I have replaced the battery and that did not make a difference.

Previously, I was getting 4 hours on a full charge and now I can't even get 2 hours on a charge.

Any suggestions on what to try next?

Hi, windows Task Manager + https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html should give some good hints at where to look for causes.

Will show if something is going on in the background or\and show symptoms of power settings (bios\intel\windows) not optimized.
