Hello guys! My Vaio (Vista Home Premium 64bit) failed numerous times when it woke from sleep. It started when I clicked on my mouse button during sleep. (mouse was connected through USB hub) Blue screen showed up. And I opened Event viewer and found out these problems:

    Problem 1.
Event 41, Kernel Power, Keywords: (2)

The last sleep transition was unsuccessful. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, failed, or lost power during the sleep transition.

    Problem 2:
Event 1002, ResourcePublication, Event originating from the fdrespub service

Element Provider\Microsoft.Base.Publication/Publication/Computer failed to publish. Ensure that both PKEY_PUBSVCS_METADATA and PKEY_PUBSVCS_TYPE are set properly on the function instance and there were no errors adding the function instance.

    Problem 3:
    Event 10, WMI, Keywords: Classic

Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

    Problem 4:
Event 7026, Service Control Manager Eventlog Provider, Keywords: Classic

The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
    DMICall
    SRTSP
    SRTSPX

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I can't really help you much with the errors in the event logs, but I can tell you that it may very well be related to a driver problem of some sort. Pointing to power features of course.

You mentioned you were using a 64 bit OS and that could be part of the issue. Most 64 bit drivers are still in beta stages and that could be an indication of bugs in those drivers. Just a thought.

Sorry for delayed reply, not exactly all of mentioned problems but fixed all of the Bluescreen BSOD errors.

I'm happy now. (Unhappy for bad right click on touchpad)
