    Specs: Turion X2 TL-64, 2GB DDR667, 160GB SATA 5400rpm, Geforce Go 7150m

I posted yesterday looking for an answer to possibly having better Aero performance with the 7150 gpu. One of my options was to install the drivers from laptopvideo2go with the modded inf. I did this, and it detected my card and went ahead with the installation. But around the time the install blinks the screen, it blue screened with memory problems. After a few attempts at messing with it, I decided I'd do a recovery install and restore the laptop to how it came from the factory.

Needless to say, after the reinstall and uninstalling all the bloatware, it's running much better. However, my base score for Graphics gaming and business are down from 3.0 to 2.5. Oddly enough, the Vista Aero rating for graphics went from 3.4 to 3.3 which I guess is normal. (And like I said, it's running better now.)

I tried using the driver that MS supplies on Windows Update, and it's still at 2.5. Anyone know why it would drop .5? If anything, the system is running better than it was before. Seems like a big difference though. I ran the test multiple times with both the hp supplied driver and the windows update driver.

Only thinkg i could think of would be updating drivers. When i did a clean install, some of my scores dropped up to 1 point. After installing newer driversall of my scores went back up, so just make sure you have the newest drivers.

It's probably a driver issue, but honestly, WEI sucks and you shouldn't worry what your score is. It's not representative of how your computer will perform. Run 3DMark06 if you're worried about your graphics card's performance.
